Softball Quiz — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-24

Softball Quiz is an educational quiz app for young softball players (ages 6–11). This policy explains exactly what data the app handles and what it does not.

What we collect

The only personal information the app collects is a first name and last initial that the player types in when starting a quiz. This is stored in your device's iCloud account and saved to the team's shared CloudKit database so the leaderboard can show who scored what.

We do not ask for, store, or upload:

How we use it

The first name and last initial are used only to display scores on the in-app team leaderboard. They are not used for marketing, advertising, analytics, or profiling. They are not shared with any third party.

Where data is stored

All player names and scores are stored in Apple's CloudKit service, in a container owned by the app developer. CloudKit is operated by Apple and protected by Apple's standard security and privacy controls. The app does not run its own servers and does not transmit data to any other service.

Children's privacy

This app is in Apple's "Made for Kids" category and is designed for children. We do not collect any personal information from children beyond a first name and last initial that the child types in. There are no third-party advertisements, analytics SDKs, or external links that lead outside the app. Parents and guardians can ask us to remove a child's leaderboard entries at any time by emailing the address below.

Third parties

The app does not integrate with any third-party SDK, analytics provider, advertising network, or external API outside of Apple's own CloudKit service.

Removing data

To request removal of a player's leaderboard entries, email info@luelma.com with the first name + last initial used.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at the same URL.
